• Duracell, the battery company, is to close its UK warehouse at Crawley, West Sussex, and move the operation to a multi-national distribution centre in Belgium in July.
The move throws UK distribution into the melting pot. Cargo Care currently brings products into Crawley from Belgium; !field Transport handles palletload traffic, and Elan looks after overnight deliveries.
