Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Further to the letter in Commercial Motor from A Tonge of Nuneaton about cargo restraint, or lack of

it, particularly in curtainsiders (CM 12-18 Dec 1991). I must admit that I do "put my foot down" when passing anything other than one of OUT own products — namely Tautliners.

I agree with Mr Tonge's statement that it is not the haulier who is the main culprit but the financial dictates of manufacturers when it comes to getting loads into the body and off his premises as quickly as possible. We solved this problem for the breweries in 1974 (is it really as long ago as that — even before Southfields had built its first Hustler curtainsider) with our "Loadhugger" concept. Boalloy currently offers a 20-page booklet about cargo restraint to cover any eventuality for would-be customers.
