Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Sugar giant Tate and Lyle has taken delivery of two unusual Foden 3000 six-wheelers designed to avoid problems with diminishing loads on multi-drop operations.

The Cummins C-Seriespowered 3300 6x4 rigids are fitted with 7.5-tonne GKN S82 front axles on 315/80 tyres. They have an overall design GVW of more than 26 tonnes.

The rear bogies on the two six-wheelers are Eaton DS401P double-drive assemblies with Foden's own Air-Trac air suspension. Both vehicles will be operated by Tate and Lyle on multi-drop work carrying bagged sugar inside Boalloy Tautliner bodies.

Foden says the trucks will also be capable of operating at the planned higher three-axle rigid weight limit.
