Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

RUD, which claims to be the largest European manufacturer of tyre chains, claims to help industry to keep moving when the weather is bad. Snow, ice or heavy mud are no problem with RUD tyre chains, says the company.

The chains feature steel links, case hardened to a substantial depth, give high resistance to wear and breakage, and ensure "excellent" grip for driving and braking. "Unique" chain patter provides even running, and tracking chain strands ensure safe lateral guidance, says RUD.

Compared with ladder chains, RUD tyre chains can give 60 per cent more ultimate strength, 240 per cent more traction and 250 per cent more resistance to wear, it is claimed.

The RUD sales and service organisation covers the British Isles and the whole of Europe, and indeed worldwide. The chains are available for lorries, cars, buses, Land-Rovers, and mobile plant.
