Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A new waste-oil burner has been introduced by E. F. Allchin, called model No. W5OG. This heater can be operated on paraffin, diesel oil, low grade fuel oil or waste oil. It is equipped with a blower attachment to provide 300 Cu. ft. of clean hot airper minute.

Maximum heat output of the burner is 80,000 to 100,000 Btu per hour depending on the fuel being used and consumption is approximately four to five pints per hour. The heater is constructed with an electrically operated two-speed motor driving a fuel pump so that the amount of fuel is passed into the combustion chamber in measu red quantities to prevent smoking. and it can continue to operate without attention.

The electrical circuit is so designed that the fuel pump does not operate until a combustion chamber temperature of 30deg C is initially achieved by priming, and in the event of the combustion chamber temperature dropping below 30deg C, the entire operation of the unit is automatically cut off. The W5OG is a flued heater and the blower unit is assembled on the top of the combustion chamber. The blower consists of a heat collection box and an axial fan: heat is collected both from the top and sides of the combustion chamber and only clean hot air is distributed into the workshop. No smell or taint from the fuel oil is possible.

The W5OG has no jets. requires no pressures, and has no wicks requiring attention and in operation is so quiet that it is said to be hardly noticeable. The heater is also designed to blow the clean hot air out at approximately shoulder level so that workshop staff have the benefit of the heat at a sensible working level and down to floor level before the heat is dissipated towards the roof of the building.
