Sign boards in glass-reinforced plastics have now been developed for vehicles by Oldham Signs. One-piece mouldings, these have letters and motifs inlaid in the resin flush with the face of the panel.

Boards can be supplied ready drilled or bolts can be bonded-in for fixing purposes, Tests on the sign boards have been made with a vehicle operated by Lime Sand and Mortar of Knaresborough.
