By standardizing all components and using stock items problems of high cost and extended delivery have been overcome in the latest package blower units introduced by W. C. Holmes and Co. Ltd. for pneumatic conveying.

A range of these is available capable of supplying up to 4,300 cu. ft. of air per minute at pressures up to 15 psi.

The air blower is of the positive displacement type and is driven by V belts from an electric motor. Standard ancillary equipment which can be supplied includes a pressure-operated electrical switch, pressure relief valve, an inlet-filter silencer, a filterrestriction indicator, discharge silencer and a non-return valve. Anti-vibration mountings and flexible mountings can be provided.
