Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

The latest technical brochure from Esna Products is No.469E which contains full details of the ESIok self-locking system for male threads.

Since its introduction to the UK from America in 1968, the ESIok technique is said to have been well received by many engineering industries, particularly the automobile sector. The technique is to apply a "locking patch" to an area of the screw threads. The "patch" is of red nylon and as the mating threads engage fully the nylon is compressed to fill completely all axial tolerances between the male and female threads enforcing a strong metal to metal contact between the thread flanks opposite the The tool which costs less than half the usual price embosses a full range of characters and symbols on iin. plastics tape. Pre-cut 3m, lengths of tape with shaped ends are obtainable, three being supplied with the labeller.

Called the Mini Label-Mate, the tool is imported from America and is adequately robust for the use it would get in vehicle workshops, offices and stores. A sharp impression is made in the tape on full depression of the operating pad. This action also moves the tape on one space ready for the next character. By pressing the pad half way, a space is created without a character being embossed.

Tape colours available are black, red, blue, gold and green and the labeller is made of blue, red, green or gold shock-resistant plastics.
