• Confusion over the identity of the licence holder, which caused a previous adjournment, having been cleared up. the S. Wales LA, Mr. R. R. Jackson, granted an application at Cardiff on Tuesday to the British Fuel Company for a 64-ton specialist tanker on B licence.
Mr. Ernest Lloyd Forbes, director and general manager of the British Anthracite Co. Ltd., said he was an agent for the British Fuel Co. which was a partnership of Amalgamated Anthracite Partners Ltd., and the National Coal Board.
The British Fuel Co., he said, was a holder of A, B and C licences for some 1,500 vehicles.
The application concerned a vehicle which had to be specially constructed to make deliveries to the Blackmill district heating scheme.
