Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

MORE THAN 3,000 litres of stolen diesel was discovered in the back of an old Transit van on Friday 3 February during a joint VOSA, Metropolitan Police Service and Transport for London operation.

The van was stopped by the Blackwall Tunnel enforcement team because it was over-loaded. “It was 33% overweight,” said Sergeant Andy Barker, speaking to CM at the scene.

In the back were two IBCs with 1,650 litres of fuel, “so well over 3,000 litres in total,” says Sergeant John Garvey.

Alex Fiddes, operations director at VOSA, also at the scene, says: “That amount of fuel could run a CV for about a month.”
