Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

"Silver lining" and "Disappearing juggernauts'', were well written and that their authors were quick off the mark.

I do believe, however, that drivers should have gone the whole way over the haulage strike and brought up complaints like drivers having to run too many unsocial hours: standing at booking-in windows in the wet and cold: not being allowed to use toilets and canteens at docks and factories; the lack of toilet facilities on the road: and the absence of parking spaces.

I fought Newmarket Council over lorry park closing and lost through lack of support. When I finally stopped fighting a lone battle I had been promised a lorry park, but that was 18 months ago and it still hasn't materialised.

What we need is a good network of facilities for drivers; they should not be treated like tramps.

I also think that the R HA, the unions and the Government could get together and run ads on cars pointing out that lorries need road space at turnings and roundabouts.
