Ken Lloyd-Fitt has become the general transport manage] of Thermalite, insulating building block manufacturers He joined the company in 1963 and was appointed the regional distribution manager in 1975. Mr Lloyd-Fitt, who is a member of the Institute of Traffic Administration, is based at Thermalite's head office in Birmingham.
Peter Lovejoy has been promoted to manager of the Northampton depot of Jackie Wilson Transport. He takes over from David Cooke, who is retiring after 22 years with the company.
