Frankfurt service for National Travel
• A weekly coach service between London and Frankfurt is being planned by National Travel (NBC) Ltd, the National Bus Company subsidiary which, among other activities, operates London's Victoria coach station. A spokesman for National Travel told CM this week that agreement on the service should be reached "very soon".
It is understood that the service will be operated by vehicles from another NBC subsidiary. It is thought unlikely that any German-owned vehicles will be involved.
Departures would be from Victoria on Friday afternoons and travel on the Harwich-Ostend ferry arriving in Frankfurt early on Saturday mornings. Return services should start on Saturday evenings.
