• Fifty postal-minibus routes will be operating in Scotland by the end of the year. This was said last week by Mr T. Carpenter, chairman of the Scottish Post Office Board, when he launched the 10th service between Skerray and Tongue in North Sutherland. He also predicted that there would be 500 postal minibuses on Scottish roads within the next few years.
