TN November last year the average 1 weekly output of commercial vehicles was 8,741. Commercial vehicle exports during the month (12,701 valued at £9.9m.) brought the total for the first 11 months of 1961 to 156,272 and £113m., in volume and value, respectively-both all-time records.
Tractor exports for the first 11 months of last year amounted to 134,044 (value £.82.3m). During the period Jan.-Nov. the value of exports of parts and accessories amounted to £169.7m., compared with f 160,4m. in 1960.
