Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE following dates were announced at a meeting last week of the National Organizing Committee of the Lorry Driver of the Year Competition: Southend, June 24; Stoke, July 15; Weymouth, May 26 (this had previously been announced as May 5): York, June 3 or 24; Coventry, July 8 (provisional). The committee also heard that there was a possibility of an eighteenth centre cooling into being this year, since Fleetwood, Lancashire, was considering the setting up of a centre.

It was decided to limit Class A vehicles to a minimum of 16 ft. in length and 22i cwt. unladen weight. Eliminating centre overall winners, it was agreed, roust be decided on the basis of either a run-off or a mathematical formula to calculate the winner. It was also decided to find out if it would be possible to have three identical eight-wheeler boxvans for the run-off at the National Final.
