SPEAKING at the tenth o.g.m. of Tecalemit, Ltd., last week, Mr. W. J. Pars low, managing director. mentioned that the chairman, Mr. S. G Gates, C.B.E., was at present in America on the company's business, and may then go to Australia. He had also recently visited the two factories • operated by Tecalernit S.A., at Puteaux. and Orly, near Paris. Two new directors were co-opted to
• the Board during the past year, Mr.
• E. G. Taylor, who is now proposed as sales director, ■ and Mt. C. S. Le Clair as technical director.
The freehold land and factory buildings (formerly held bn lease), immediately opposite the main factory in • the Great West Road, have been purchased.
The' company has been assured of the continuance of its long-standing arrangement with the Stewart-Warner Corporation of Chicago (maker of Alemite equipment), under which the two companies exchange patents and technical information.
