THE reason why the masks are not removed from traffic lights is that, with the present subdued street lighting, it woUld result in considerable dazzle. This.was stated by Mr. P. J. Noel-Baker, Parliamentary Secretary, M.O.W.T., in a written reply to Mr. H. Lawson.
