Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Advanced's fleet has grown steadily over the past few years, although it uses sub-contractors to supplement its own vehicles. Its own fleet includes 40 44-tonners a mix that includes MANs and DAFs as well as six rigids and six 28-tonners.

Advanced is a member of The Pallet Network, which enables it to take on extra work when necessary.

Darren Outlaw, head of distribution, says the fleet includes some curtainsiders adapted to carry hanging garments. These can bring advantages when it comes to loading and unloading.

The firm employs 60 drivers more than the number of vehicles it operates to ensure that it can run vehicles round the clock. Outlaw says Advanced leases its vehicles and renews them after the threeyear leasing period 'because after that they start to look tatty".

The result is that Advanced vehicles are designed to look 'bang on trend' and the company's growth means that you are likely to see many more of them on the UK's roads in the next five years.
