An employee of a local firm saw the Iwo vehicles leaving the yard at around 03:30hrs and became suspicious when the drivers ground the gears. Although the police were immediately alerted there has been no sign of the vehicles.

The vehicles registrations are F240 AVG and E460 SVG.

AFord 190 chassis-cab was stolen last week under the nose of its driver. He was workng in h Is garage after parking the vehicle outside his house in Yate near Chipping Sodbury on Wednesday, 24 November when he heard the engine start.

He opened the door to see the cab being driven off at around 20.30 hours.

The diesel cab's registration is F74 TFB, chassis number SFACXXBDVCKR33687.

It is yellow with ATS livery in dark grey. The vehicle has dents in the mid-front bonnet, nearside seal and nearside front door.

It was equipped with a compressor and crane. The HPC diesel compressor has a Honda diesel engine number SBT26GDE, serial number 141125 and is grey and yellow. It has Iwo air receivers, serial numbers R65233-5 and 55294-40.

The Swinglift crane is yellow with serial number 11333/5/92.
