Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Derogatory letters have been published in CM concerning bus drivers. Take this quote from one letter: -The lowest form of people in transport.'

Perhaps it is time something is said in the bus drivers' favour. They perform a difficult job stopping and starting at bus stops which are often obstructed by illegally parked cars, lorries, removal and delivery vans.

In my experience and my family's, bus drivers are the first to stop at pedestrian crossings.

If we talk about safety; hov■ about banning heavy lorries from our town centres? There should be no need to stand a heavy vehicle on its nose, as one of your correspondents suggest, if the driver is drivinf within his limits with both ey€ on the road and not on his bonus or an early finish.

How about making all van deliveries to our shops before 8am, as is the practice in mar European countries?
