HE recently announcedobe into Road Haulage ssociation pricing should m up trumps, according to HA national vice-chairman Ihn Silberman.
Speaking at the annual din!r of the RHA Oxford sub 'ea, Mr Silberman said he anted the world to know the HA "thoroughly welcomed" le pricing probe.
Mr Silberman said he was ire the inquiry would "diswer that in the main RHA embers do an arduous job ell, do not always get the roper price that the work !serves, and certainly make ) excessive profits."
He urged all members to coperate fully with the Price ommission so that "the real uth of the state of the road aulage industry can be fairly itablished."
Mr Silberman then appealed to membefs not to be shy about answering questions put to them by either the RHA or the Price Commission about the way they ran their businesses.
He added that the Commission was empowered "to demand this evidence anyway."
