TRANSPORT Minister William Rodgers has announced an increase in road haulage permit quotas for Italy and Portugal.
The Italian quota will be increased from 4,850 to 5,950 in 1978. A decision on allocation of the additional permits will be made early in the New Year following recent cons tions with both the Road lage and Freight Trans Associations.
Operators have there been requested by the partment of Transport n contact the Internati Road Freight Office un further announcement en made.
The quota for Portugal is to increased also.
