SELF-EMPLOYED people are to pay less for their National Insurance stamps in the future under a new set of rates published this week.
And this means that selfemployed people could be paying as much as £273 a year less in contributions from next April to coincide with the introduction of the Government's new pension arrangements.
For employees there is also a drop in contributions, if they have contracted out of the Government pensions scheme.
