ALL Sunderland Corporation Transport buses will be fitted with "magic eye" code plates at an estimated cost of 120,000 to provide automatic recording of arrival and departure times in the town centre, if a transport committee proposal is approved.
Electronic scanners at strategic points would relay the information to recording equipment at the town's proposed new bus station to improve timekeeping control.
