THE TRTA has awarded a prize for the first time to the candidate employed by a C-licence operator gaining the highest marks in the Royal Society of Arts diploma in Road Transport. Mr. P. E. Taylor. who worked for British Oxygen Co. at the time of the examinations and now works for Calor Gas Co., this week received his 12 gn. prize from Mr. R. C. Bishop, divisional chairman, at a meeting of the TRTA Leicestershire area committee.
RHA aids PIB costs probe
TFIE RHA highways and vehicles committee meets specially on December 14 to prepare a memorandum on repair and service charges at the request of the Prices and Incomes Board.
Among Board queries the committee will answer:—What proportion of RHA members' vehicles are maintained by their owners and why?
