PAA NEW factory is to be built at Winsford, Cheshire, by Telehoist, Ltd., of Cheltenham, A 15-acre site has been acquired and an initial production space of 40,000 sq. ft. is planned. The new factory will be used to assemble gears and bodies built at Cheltenham.

In announcing plans for the new factory, Mr. Arthur Palmer, director, also revealed his intention to launch a big sales drive in the European market. As part of this drive, the firm will exhibit at the International Motor Show in Geneva and at the British Trade Fair in Moscow.

Telehoist are at present turning out 400 steel truck bodies and hydraulic tipping gears a month at Cheltenham, where the production area has been more than doubled in the past four years. number of intermediate positions can be arranged to special order.
