THE name of the Vacuum Oil Co., Ltd., has been changed to the Mobil Oil Co., Ltd. One reason is that the vacuum distillation process has been superseded and therefore the word " vacuum " has lost its significance. Another is that the company are anxious to link their name more closely with their products.
