FINES totalling £36 have been imposed on a haulier by York magistrates for exceeding the 10-mile radius stipulated by his B licence. Fred Wright, Heworth Green, York; the operator, was also fined £3 for using an unlicensed lorry for his coal and coke business, and paid £5 5s: costs.
Mr. E. Wurzal, prosecuting, produced a schedule of 52 further mileage offences. which were admitted by Wright. Journeys had been made to a gravel quarry at Goole, 20 miles from York. .
