()AVER 1,000 employees who have N.-I given a total of 36,719 years' service to the Rootes Group met at celebration dinners held in London and Coventry on Tuesday and Wednesday. Gold watches or clocks were presented to workers with over 40 years' service, and silver cigarette cases, or other mementoes. to those with 25 years to
their credit. • Sir William Rootes, chairman, qualified for a gold watch for his 43 years' service, and Sir Reginald Rooks, deputy chairman, a cigarette case for 34 years.
