Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE Western Licensing Authority on Monday advised an applicant to withdraw his ease after evidence had been given that a .special A-licence vehicle had been purchased. "I am most anxious to avoid over-licensing vehicles in my area," he said.

Mr, 3. Keeling, Mount Road, .Bath, wished to .operate a vehicle under a B licence on . general haulage up to 100 miles. There were six objectors. Applicant said that he had been assigned a vehicle by the Warminster Motor Co. It was. found from the Authority's records that this vehicle was first purchased by a Mr. Baulch, of Chard, from the Bra tton base of British Road Services. He had transferred it to the Warminster company:,

Applicant said he had been promised work by the company: The Authority: " If the Warminster Motor Co. have plenty . of work, why have they sold it [the vehicle) to you? The only reason would appear to be they are making a good. thing out of this, like many other people."

He was not satisfied that the special A vehicle was to work solely for the company. Applicant had based it at Bath and he could well do general haulage with it.
