ON THE ROAD
Remember the Ford Cargo? Well it’s alive and being built in Turkey. What’s more, the latest version is a contender for the International Truck of the Year title, and editor Will Shiers was lucky enough to drive it in Turkey. Deputy technical editor Kevin Swallow and office manager Sandra Greaves were at Truckfest Scotland last weekend, and got sunburnt on Saturday and drenched on Sunday. Group news editor Christopher Walton went up the M6 to Cannock to see Pentalver’s inland container hub and meet its management team, while David Wilcox, our group technical editor, visited Volvo Trucks in Warwick to talk about taking weight out of 8x4 tippers.
