— SUPPLY-CHAIN specialist Wincanton has renewed its contract with pub company Punch Taverns for 10 years.

Under the £-1 50m deal Wincanton will manage the food supply chain to 1,000 Punch sites in the UK.
Wincanton MD Martin Taylor says: "We're delighted to be working with Punch Taverns.
"Wincanton differentiates itself by offering a distribution solution that is completely independent from any supplier or wholesale arrangements, leaving customers to control their own food procurement costs and menus."
The contract will be serviced from Wincanton's Luton and Worsley, Salford depots, using single-stocking.
