• Truck sales have plummetted by 16.3% to 176,027 during the first seven months of this year, compared to January to July last year. And during last month sales were down 16.6% on the 13,734 total achieved in July 1989.
Iveco Ford is maintaining its lead with 431 sales during July, which brings its sales for the year to date to 7,205.
Leyland Daf, which had 526 registrations during July, follows with 6,651 registrations this year.
Mercedes-Benz, third, had 357 July sales, reaching 4,680 for the year to date.
In fourth place, Volvo had 210 sales bringing its total this year to 2,609.
