• Ernst & Young, the receiver for Coloroll, has disposed of two more of the group's businesses — five have now been sold since the company went into receivership in June with debts of up to £400m.
Graham & Brown has bought Coloroll's wallcovering's factory in Blackburn, its home town, to increase its production capacity. The move is likely to mean more business for WH Bowker and FedEx who handle the firm's distribution.
Staffordshire Tableware, Color°ll's ceramics division, has been bought by a management team for 220m. No changes are expected to the firm's subcontracted distribution arrangements.
The purchase of the two companies follows management buyouts at Denby and Kosset Carpets (CM 2-8 August).
