Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• York subsidiary TEC has launched what it says is the first 10.5-tonne self-tracking trailer axle built in the UK. The axle has Ackermann steering which helps meet the 12.5m outer radius turning circle requirements of 13.6m trailers and reduce tyre wear. The product will be unveiled officially at the Paris Show in October. The company, which is the research and development arm of York, says the axle gives much greater steer angles, 180 outer and 14° inner, than a conventional axle. It only tracks at speeds under 16kmIh (10mph). At higher speeds it has the same stability as a trailer with conventional axles, says the company. EIGKN is likely to launch a 7.5-tonne front axle, the F75, at the Motor Show.
