Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

with a recently received press release about Drinkwater Sabey's Bournemouth region which is sponsoring a country music festival on British Ferries Sealink's Earl Godwin on Sunday, September 28, en route from Weymouth to Cherbourg and back.

The cause, of course, is a very good one — the Leukaemia Research Fund; and the organisers hope to raise in excess of £5,000.

Drivers and their haulier bosses interested in this type of music, with 220 to spare for the fare, will be very welcome. But they can't take their vehicles with them 'cause there won't be any room, seemingly.

The ferry's main deck is to be converted into a concert hall to accommodate five bands while the main deck is to be transformed into a concert area complete with stage, etc., on which the nine well-known country and western stars will perform.

Anyone interested in going along and supporting this good cause (not forgetting the duty free shopping ashore in Cherbourg) should contact Drinkwater Sabey Plc at Poole, telephone 0202-744333. recently when a lorry overturned on a roundabout there, shedding its load in the process.

"So what's so unusual about that?" I hear you ask. Well, nothing, I guess — except that the load consisted of 2,000 live lobsters which — according to the paper — "spilled out" over the roads.

Later, it seems, all two tons of the poor creatures were scooped up and taken back to the Selsey Lobster Company, in Sussex, from where they had originated.

They had been bound for the restaurant tables of France, and the company's managing director is reported to have said that they were being given a "breather" in tanks of water before being sent to the ferry port again!

Just imagine a road blocked with 2,000 live lobsters: Ugh. For Jaws read Claws.

• Over 3,000 entrants took part in this year's "Tyre Repair Man of the Year" competition which was sponsored by 'rip Top Vulcanizing Products, and Tyres and Accessories, the trade magazine.

The finals took place recently in London and the overall winner was Alan Lorne who is the assistant supervisor in the Duramould truck remould division of Vacu-Lug Traction Tyres at its main production complex at Grantham.
