MANSPORT and distribution companies stand to gain from a being marketed by Scicon .ange of computer programs :omputer Services.

Scicon's Trunk Planner projramme is geared to such bulk joods movements as from facory to distribution depot, and fetermines the best method of neeting demands from sources.
It can be used to determine he best allocation of vehicles to iases and to show the type of outes to be followed, or it can le used from week to week to work out how best to meet coming demands, making best. use of the fleet.
Two packages, DEPSIT and SCITE, are used for depot siting work in order to avoid high development costs, and the BRS Pathfinder package satisfies secondary distribution problems.
Primary route planning and time and mileage audits are car ried out by SCICOPATH which gives the best routes and various starting points to each destination.
