Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Most truck dealers will vote Tory in today's election, but far fewer believe John Major will win the election, according to a survey by consultancy Campbell Automotive Group.

It finds that 72% of managers and dealer principals will vote Conservative, compared with 86% in the last general election. Another 20% have not yet decided.

However, only 26% think the Tories will have an outright majority, with 33% saying there will be a hung parliament and 28% that Labour Will win.

Of the 70 bosses contacted on 2-3 April, 83% say the country is still in recession.

Some 56% believe a Labour government would lead to an upturn within a year, with 45% thinking a Conservative administration would — and 53% say a hung parliament will mean recovery could take more than two years. Campbell Automotive says it polled 15% of all the UK's new truck dealers.
