• I have read your editorial coverage of wheel shedding with considerable interest as I had slight involvement in the problem some years ago.
The official report findings helped no-one and I doubt if the description of the action of the "cam-nuts" inspired either operators or drivers with much confidence. On the other hand, they seem to be the only answer CM has so far found to what still remains a serious problem.
That being so, is there a possibility of giving them a test, financed perhaps with some of the money collected when the subject was a weekly feature?
At present the matter seems dormant. Please say this isn't so.
