Chippenhambased Anthony House, who trades as Taylor Transport, has failed to appear before Rochdale magistrates to answer allegations that he permitted a driver to commit a series of drivers' hours offences.
Michael Matthews pleaded guilty to five offences of taking insufficient daily rest, four offences of exceeding the daily driving limit and three offences of exceeding 41 hours without taking the required amount of break.
House is accused of permitting three of the daily rest offences, two of the daily driving offences and two of the 41 hour driving offences.
The magistrates adjourned the case until May.
