Euro-Tools have introduced the Strasmann three-flute-end mill for machining keyways, slots and pockets. The cutter has three flutes with a helix angle of about 40 degrees, one cutting over 'centre, and an angle geometry which also makes it suitable for machining pockets. The tools are said to be treated by a special Strasmann heat-treatment method.
