THE largest contract ever undertaken by Pickfords Removals at Chichester is being worked on now. The contract was for the moving of Mallory Timers from Bognor Regis to Houghton.LeSpring, near Sunderland.
The job will involve 15 to 17 loads over a period of a week to move the complete production lines for the making of electrical appliances.
The factory will be in operation within two days of the unpacking, following the colour-coding processes used by Pickfords.
Unloading will be a cooperative effort using staffs from Newcastle, Sunderland, Stockton and Darlington.
