& Sons was renewed last week with operating time conditions following representations from local residents.
The residents told North Eastern Deputy Licensing Authority Norman Moody that the access road to the operating centre — at Durham Street in Castleford — was deteriorating.
The company pointed out that there had been no objection from the local authority and that the operating centre itself was suitable for the number of vehicles being used. Vehicles did not normally leave the operating centre before 07:30hrs Monday to Saturday, or return later than 17:30hrs Monday to Friday, or 13:30hrs on Saturdays.
