Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A DOZEN hauliers who met in Dewsbury, Yorkshire, last week are considering taking joint action to lodge winding up petitions against various associated companies with the basic name Fox Freight, a Glasgow-based clearing house. They allege nonpayment of money due for haulage.

The hauliers, who travelled up to 150 miles to attend the meeting, are interested to hear from anyone who believes they have an overdue debt with a Fox Freight company. Phone either CM on 01-661 3679 or Trevor Whitaker on Batley (0924) 478706. Nine hauliers claiming overdue debts had responded to a story about Fox Freight last week by the time this week's issue closed for press.
