Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

FOUR new contract sales executives have been appointed by National Carriers Contract Services as part of a drive for new business. This follows the appointment of sales director Geoffrey Eales (reported in CM, August 11).

Tony Mack and Leslie Harper will concentrate on northern England and Scotland. Mr Mack, who operates from Stockton, joins from the Transport Network Cleveland Group. Leslie Harper, based in Bradford, has worked for the Ocean Transport Trading Group.

Southern Britain is covered by Charles Maddock and Gordon Atkins. Mr Maddock is based at Harlow. He has worked in the distribution industry for 26 years and joins NCCS from G. and D. Summerfield. NCCS headquarters in Bedford is the base of Mr Atkins, who was with United Biscuits. ness development manager with Transfleet. Other appointments are yet to be announced. Meanwhile, Bill Dowse and Malcom Bond have joined as regional sales managers. Mr Dowse has many years' experience within the transport industry, including a period with Fraiken, for which company he developed a UK base, and Ryder Trucks. Mr Bond has been in the trailer rental business with Trailerent and TIP.
