Mike Edwards has moved from Tor Line to become a director of Davies Freight Forwarding (Hull) Ltd. He was with Tor Line for over five years, and has gained wide experience in Scandinavian and Continental traffic.
A new distribution director for H. P. Bulmer Ltd is Derek Joyce, general manager (distribution) for the past two years. He joined the cidermaking company in 1962 as an assistant works manager and has progressed since then through the distribution and production functions.
Halliday Transport has made Gerry Poole its new Manchester office manager in place of Bob Hibbert who has gone to Halliday's Daventry office.
Ferrymasters Holland's sales manager is B. van Rij, an expert in the unit loads business. He has rejoined Ferrymasters with which he was a sales representative in 1970-75. John Bailey has become managing director of DAF Trucks Export Division. Formerly the Direct Export Department, the division is responsible for sales of DAF vehicles to non-EEC countries. Until his recent appointment, Mr Bailey was with Perkins Engines for 10 years.

Jack Dooley is moving from Goodyear Tyre and Rubber's Wolverhampton plant to become plant manager at Drumchapel, Glasgow. He joined Goodyear in Los Angeles in 1952. .
