DISCREETLY tucked away in the September TGWU Record is an item calculated to please Sydney Greene of the National Union of Railwaymen: At the invitation of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, Frank Cousins (and wife Nance) took part in a recent three-day seminar on public transportation at Chicago University.
The ERT is the largest operating railroad union in the US. Perhaps Frank was collecting ideas for a sortie with the NUR? His members, and others, would like to know.
