The Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft, of MarienfeIde, Berlin, has recently supplied a fleet of four motor street-cleansing machines to the municipal authorities of Konigsberg, Prussia. A somewhat unusual feature of the vehicles, which are adapted for both street watering and sweeping purposes, is that the various controls are operated by a second man perched high up on a special seat at the rear of the vehicle, the driver thus devoting his whole attention to driving.
