At Oldham Corporation Tramways Committee a letter was read from the Royton Urban District Council, referring to an application received by them from the North Western Road Car Co.. Ltd., for licences to run on the arterial road, and asking for any observations of the committee thereon. and the town clerk read his reply to the effect that the corporation by their Bill are seeking powers to run omnibuses through the Royton area, and that as soon as these powers have been granted it is their intention to put on a service immediately.
